The main difference is the number of tubes used for shock absober. The housing itself works as a cylinder and oil, gas, piston valve are all set inside a singe tube for the mono-tube shocks, while for the twin-tube shocks, there is a separate cylinder set inside the housing and the piston valve moves up and down within the inner cylinder. In addition,Mono-tube uses a free piston which separates the oil chamber from the gas chamber, while for twin-tube,there is nothing separates the oil and gas chambers within the housing.
We also provide the strut assembly for some specific markets. The strut assembly (quick strut)consists of a spring top plate, strut mount, coil spring, shock absorber, buffer and dust cover.Which is a common damper type used on many of today's independent suspension, front wheel drive vehicles as well as some rear wheel drive vehicles. Because of its design, a strut is lighter and takes up less space than the shock absorbers in conventional suspension systems.Besides damping function, struts provide structural support for the vehicle suspension, support the spring, and hold the tire in an aligned position.Additionally, they bear much of the side load placed on the vehicle's suspension.
· Provided>3000 SKU Shock Absorbers, they are fitted for most of popular passenger cars and some commercial vehicles:AUDI, BMW, MERCEDES BENZ, CITROEN, PEUGEOT, TOYOTA, HONDA, NISSAN, HYUNDAI, KIA,MERCEDES BENZ, RENAULT etc.
