1 A hydraulic pump is a mechanical source of power that converts mechanical power into hydraulic energy. It generates flow with enough power to overcome pressure induced by the load at the pump outlet. Then it can reduce the strength of the driving operation, improve the vehicle's maneuverability.

2 Control the internal pressure in the steering pipe through the pressure relief valve,to ensure the safety of steering system.
