The first is to Increase the torque from the steering wheel to be large enough to overcome the steering resistance moment between the steering wheel and the road surface, reducing the resistance of the driver when operating the steering wheel.
The second is to convert the rotation of the driving gear connected to the steering transmission shaft into the linear motion of the gear and rack to obtain the required displacement
The third is to coordinate the direction of rotation of the steering wheel with the direction of rotation of the steering wheel.
