An air suspension system consists of an air spring, also known as plastic/airbags, rubber, and an airline system, that is connected to an air compressor, valves, solenoids, and uses electronic controls. The compressor pumps the air into a flexible bellows, usually made from textile-reinforced rubber. The air pressure inflates the bellows, and raises the chassis from the axle.
